This isn't necessary related to the licence. To check if your licence is still valid, go to Help > About or Help > Register. The problem is related to something else and I believe it's with system permissions. Locate the executable of the program then right click it and select Run as Administrator. This should fix your issue with the copy and paste operations. Alternatively, access Control Panel and then go to Programs and Features and locate PhotoSuite Deluxe. Click Uninstall/Remove but choose Repair and proceed with the operation. This is another method to fix the application's problems.
This application and all its related versions were released for Windows operating system. However, there is the latest version 9.0 compatible with Windows XP. For your Mac, you need to install Windows XP using a virtual machine, then you can run it. You can try Bootcamp or VMWare Fusion for this procedure.
